Kindergarten Information: Current 2011-2012 Incoming Class

To sign up your child into the current 2011-2012 Kindergarten class at Bishop, please contact Mrs. Gonsalves at 781-316-3792 as soon as possible.

Age Requirements:
Incoming Kindergarten students must be five (5) years old by August 31, 2011 in order to enter Kindergarten in the Fall of 2011. More information on entrance age >

Kindergarten Fee:
The fee for the Kindergarten program will be announced on March 8.

Kindergarten Registration:

April 11, 2012 (9:00am-1:00pm) - Bishop Kindergarten registration for Fall 2012 at the Bishop School. Children and parents are invited to registration.

Kindergarten Information Night:

April 12, 2012 (6:00-7:00pm) - Kindergarten Information Night for incoming 2012-2013 class will be held at the Bishop School.

Registration and Important Forms:
Children and parents are invited to registration.

The following forms needed to be completed for kindergarten registration and returned to the office in March 2012:

• Enrollment Form - COMPLETED by parent
• Emergency Contact Form - COMPLETED by parent
• Health History Form - COMPLETED by parent
• Private Physican's Physical Information
• Record of Immunizations (Required by Law)
• Proof of Residency (Tax receipt/mortgage/rental/utility)
• Birth Certificate- An ORIGINAL Birth Certificate from the Town/City Hall in which your child's birth is registered must be presented. Hospital or Baptismal records are not acceptable. The original birth certificate will be returned to you.

These forms will be mailed to you in March. If you are new to Arlington, and may not be on the census list, please call the Bishop School, 781-316-3792 to be placed on our mailing list.

No fall assignments will be made until all these requirements are met!

In order that we may adequately prepare for all incoming students, please notify this office as soon as possible if you do not intend to register your child or are registering at a private school, moving, etc. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Gonsalves at 781-316-3792.
