Ms. Kate Armstrong, 5th Grade Teacher

I am from Hingham, Massachusetts and love living in New England. I graduated from Wheelock College in Boston in 1990 with an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Ed., and later went back to Wheelock in 1998 to earn a master’s degree in Administration/ Principal. I came to Arlington in 1991 and taught for two years at the Hardy School before coming to the Thompson in 1993. I taught grade 3 for 10 years and have just completed my 10th year in grade 5. My husband Jim and I live on the South Shore, and have 2 children. Grace is nine and half years old and going into Grade 4. Christopher just turned 6 and is going into Grade 1.
