If you would like to receive school notices by e-mail, please register in one of two ways: www.arlington.k12.ma.us or at the OPAC directory site at https:/www.arlington.k12.ma.us/ptodirectory  Please note that the e-mail notices are meant to supplement, but not replace paper notices.

Communicating With Teachers

Communicating with teachers via e-mail is an effective way of exchanging information, expressing concerns, or asking questions.

Most teachers check their e-mail messages daily.  If you do not get a response in a day or two, please call the teacher and let him or her know that you had sent a message.  Sometimes, the e-mail system malfunctions and the teacher's mail reception becomes disabled, or messages get lost.

To get the e-mail address of a teacher, you can either access the teachers' directory on this web site, or you can create the address yourself by following the school's e-mail address convention.  Each address consists of the teacher's first name initial, followed by the teacher's last name.  The domain name is arlington.k12.ma.us.  For example, if the teacher's name is Robert Smith, then his e-mail address is RSmith@arlington.k12.ma.us.
