Principal, Mark McAneny

Mark McAneny has served as Assistant Principal at Newman Elementary School in Needham since July of 2008. Prior to that, Mark taught 3rd and 4th grade for seven years at the Lawrence Elementary School in Brookline, MA.

Mark was born and raised in Riverside, California. He eventually moved to Seattle, Washington in 1995, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts at the Evergreen State College. Mark then moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend Lesley University, receiving a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and Special Needs. In 2006, Mark went on to complete his Educational Leadership certification through the Educators Collaborative of Greater Boston.
