Ms. Angela Morais, 1st Grade Teacher
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Angela Morais and I am the new kindergarten teacher at Bishop School. I grew up in Arlington, MA and still reside here. I love teaching and have worked as a Special Education Assistant Teacher for six years in kindergarten through fifth grade classes. Prior to this, I was a Substitute Teacher and I volunteered in my children’s classes. While working at Bishop, I received my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from American International College. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
When I am not teaching, an important aspect of my life is my family. I have two children in high school. My son is a senior and my daughter is a freshman. We have a dog and a chinchilla. My son loves longboarding and my daughter is an avid soccer player. We also enjoy biking, going on walks, reading, movies, arts and crafts, baking, and just spending time with family.
I am very excited to be a part of the Bishop School team. Bishop is truly a fantastic place to work. The families, coworkers, and children could not be more supportive. I am proud to work at such a wonderful family oriented school.
