Principal's Welcome

As an educational leader, I keep children at the heart of all I do. I consistently ask myself, "What is in the best interest of our students?" In order to be educators in a world that is changing at a fast pace, we must embrace the responsibility to prepare our students for an unknown future. We can only do this if we consistently reflect on the teaching and learning occurring in our schools and the individual success of students emotionally, socially, behaviorally, and academically. At Dallin, that is what we strive to do each and every day!

We seek to provide a learning environment where students will meet and exceed academic standards, make appropriate decisions, and solve problems. With these skills, students will gain knowledge, confidence, and self-discipline. Consistent high expectations for both the student's academic effort and behavior, combined with strong parental support, will bring success.

Additionally, we are supporters of the arts and their positive impact on students. The arts provide rich multi-sensory experiences that engage the whole mind-body-emotional system. They nourish the imagination and creative thinking skills, provide a sense of awareness, aid with the discovery of the physical self, help students to build communication skills, expose students to interpersonal skills, and enhance self-confidence. These are life-long skills that will be valuable in both the workplace and in human relationships.

With the efforts of our talented and dedicated teaching team partnered with our supportive families and community we will continue to provide the high quality education our Dallin children deserve.
