Lunch/Food Services/Snack

LUNCH AND FOOD SERVICES

Lunch at the Gibbs School will be 20 minutes long with a 20 minute outside time. We will have 3 lunches allowing for students to eat in smaller groups. This will allow for a more comfortable environment. It is likely that the students will be eating with peers from their learning communities.

Gibbs and Ottoson Lunch Menu - Menus are posted at the start of each month.

Food Services Department - includes upcoming lunch menus, detailed information about the lunch program, nutritional facts, free and reduced priced lunch program, lunch payment information, and acceptable foods lists.

If you have any questions regarding the lunch program, please contact Food Services Director, Denise Hunt Boucher at 781-316-3643 or e-mail schoollunch@arlington.k12.ma.us.

SNACK

We will also have a working snack. Students will be able to bring in a HEALTHY, Peanut/Tree nut FREE snack each day. Although we are not a "nut free" school, rather an "allergy aware school", it is important to keep nuts out of the classrooms to reduce the risk of accidental exposure. We want to keep the classroom environment safe for all students. Students will not be allowed to purchase snacks from the cafeteria during snack time or share snacks with each other.
