Course Descriptions - Grade 7

IMPACT 2A MATHEMATICS

Course Description: Seventh Grade Impact 2A Mathematics is the first year of a two-year course at the Ottoson Middle School. Impact Math 2A is a problem-centered curriculum that provides all students with the opportunity to explore challenging, rich problems. By the end of eighth grade, most students will develop a strong understanding of algebraic ideas that will prepare them well for a high school Algebra I course. Impact 2B is the traditional course that Impact 2A students would select for grade 8.

IMPACT 2 MATHEMATICS

Course Description: Seventh Grade Impact Mathematics is a problem-centered curriculum that is introduced to students in the seventh grade as the first year of a two-year course. By the end of eighth grade, students in the Impact 2 course will have completed Algebra I.
