Programs & Services
Arlington Public Schools offers a wide range of special education programs and services for eligible students from preschool through grade 12. These services are designed to support students with disabilities who require specialized instruction.
Each student with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) is assigned a Special Education Liaison. This staff member acts as the student’s case manager and is your main point of contact for questions and support related to your child’s IEP. The liaison works closely with general education teachers to make sure all accommodations and modifications outlined in the IEP are followed. They may also provide direct instruction, depending on your child’s needs.
