Director of Human Resources

Rob Spiegel has been the Human Resources Director of the Arlington Public Schools since 2011. Prior to that, he was a practicing attorney, counseling public and private sector employers on all aspects of labor and employment law.  

Rob currently serves as the President of the Massachusetts Association of School Personnel Administrators (MASPA), an association of school human resources professionals throughout Massaachusetts.  He also serves as a representative of Arlington to the Massachusetts Partnership for Diversity in Education (MPDE), and previously served on the Executive Board of that organization.

Rob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law.
