Gibbs School
Gibbs School
The Gibbs School opened in September 2018, receiving sixth grade students from all seven Arlington elementary schools. The newly renovated Gibbs School is designed
to support students' transition to a larger school community. At the same time, all core and special academic offerings Arlington has traditionally provided to sixth grade students are offered at Gibbs. The Gibbs School community is an environment where students and adults work cooperatively
to strive for academic achievement and social-emotional growth. Our community encourages being Understanding
of each other and what makes us unique, being Unified in our efforts to support one another’s abilities to grow and learn and being Unstoppable when reaching for our personal and community goals. Welcome to the Gibbs School community.
